Series connection of two wire sensors
Voltage drop on sensors connected in series is equal to the sum of voltage drops on all individual sensors. Therefore, there is only the difference between zhe supply voltage and the sum of the voltage drops on all sensors available for the load.
Recomendation: connect maximum three sensors in series.

Voltage drop on sensors connected in series is equal to the sum of voltage drops on all individual sensors. Therefore, there is only the difference between the supply voltage and the sum of voltage drops on all sensors available for the load.
Every sensor must be capable to switch the sum of load currents and on-load supply currents of all other sensors.

Parallel connection of two wire sensors
The sum of all OFF-state currents (currents flowing through non conducting sensors) must be considerably lower from minimal required load current.
Parallel connection of AC sensors is not recomendable.

Parallel connection of three wire sensors
Parallel connection of three wire sensors is possible.
It is strongly advise to add blocking diodes to prevent current flow through non conducting sensors.
